Message	Twin-engine pylon racer (airplane) running methanol through a pair of VG30DETTs. They were using stock longblocks. With forged crankshafts and connecting rods you are going to have a hard time breaking them as long as you aren't detonating, which wont occur with methanol - all you have to worry about is static hydrolocking them with raw fuel if they misfire as the correct A/F ratio is 4:1.
